Cobalt volcano in Terrania/Quagmiris cluster, Aluminium in Folia cluster
While it may not matter much, while browsing and toying around with Tools Not Included for Spaced Out maps, I noticed following:

All the "Classic" scenarios and all the "Moonlet" scenarios have the probabillity that a seed can spawn ALL variants of metal volcanos in the same seed.

But Terrania, Folia and Quagmiris scenario spawn rules are excepted from this.

*) If you pick Terrania and Quagmiris you will never get a Cobalt volcano. None of the asteroids will have it.
*) If you pick Folia you will never get an Aluminium volcano, none of the asteroids in the cluster will have that one.

I wonder why it is like that and why they cannot have them.
I know Folia is supposed to be around "alternative" strategy, but I don't see why an Aluminium volcano cannot spawn on one of the 2 nearby inner asteroids in the cluster.
And the same I feel about Terrania and Quagmiris, I don't see why a Cobalt volcano cannot spawn on the one of the two nearby inner asteroids.

I know in the Terrania/Quagmiris clusters you can still mine Cobalt from space POIs, and on Folia you can mine Aluminium from space POIs as well if for some reason you absolutely want/need it.

My point is more about that the spawn rules for volcanoes kinda feels at least somewhat inconsistent to me, considering that all other scenarios have the possibility that every single metal volcano one can occur in the same seed at least one of the asteroids.

These rules make these starting clusters easier. You are better off getting a Gold and an Iron volcano since those materials are more useful for specific purposes than generic metals.

I know Gold/Iron (the latter when turned into steel) are more useful in the long run because of their thermal properties, while Aluminium/Cobalt are mostly for the early game or aesthetics.

That said Aluminium can also be interesting because it has the second highest conductivity in the game tho directly after Thermium. At least as long as not used in a high temperature environment. So it can have its applications.

It is more about why on every other cluster type both Aluminium and Cobalt volcanos can spawn simultaneously in the same cluster, while on the specific 3 starts (Terrania,/Folia/Quagmiris) they are mutually exclusive.
For me it just didn't make much sense that these three are the only ones that have special spawn rules that prohibit Cobalt to spawn in the cluster when there is Aluminium and vice versa.

The only reasoning for me that there is (which I found while discussing the matter with a friend in the meantime), is that they made the updated versions for "classic" but also the "moonlet" clusters later during development of the Spaced Out DLC where they did decide that they would allow both Aluminium/Cobalt volcanos to spawn in the same cluster, but they didn't update the Terrania/Folia/Quagmiris...
... simply because now that it is like that changing it would render all existing seeds for Terrania/Flia/Quagmiris useless if they would include the missing type now.
And as we already admitted it is not really worth doing that because later down the game you don't need those volcanos as much anymore anyway.

Gold is more so useful because it's needed in oxylite production without the need to ranch dense pufts. One of the best and most compact methods for oxygenating your rocket interiors.
