Communicating vessels principle, why is missing?
I don't get why we have to spend a lot of energy to pump liquiqs in pipes while 2000 years ago we had effective acqueducts and water towers powerless.

This makes no sense at all

Apart from that I have seen liquids equalize its surface level albeit slowely when there is a "dent" or wall halfway through the top and above that point for that principle to be shown...

liquids indeed flow like they would in aqueduct and you could build a walkable one yourself: Meshtile on normal tile.

Yes, but there is actually no way to convey a fluid into a pipe without a pump. and this makes no sense

The whole point is to have a water reserve in top of the base and plumb the water where is needed (electrolizers, baths, sinks, showers, ...) without using pumps. The gravity and the wieght of the water should mantain the pressure, saving A LOT of energy.

Well, in terms of science, devs already gave us an arm and a leg (one would not consider that a game would implement the principle named here or having hot gases raise), so we might as well take the rest and further demand purrfect Conservation of Mass and Energy (+find a way for Momentum and more), Thermal Radiation and just everything.

oh and I am fairly certain that the extra ton or hundred would make the pipes burst due to the presssure if you want to make sense.

by the by, I'd like to take the liver, thank you

Sure, without a 1$ valve :D
In the time of the Roman Empire it was a common thing to see coders programming the flow of fluids, sitting with their abacus at the aqueduct.
The worst coders where downgraded to gladiators and had to code their way out of the Colosseum, coding for survival...
