-prioritize X interest
(that would be useful, for exemple making the minners work first, then builders getting on work without having to wait too much. Lots of smart combinations, like farmer and cook, or early material deliveries can be done this way)
You still have to create them, but at least this part would be automated. Auto-assignment would probably go to the highest of each schedule type on the list, so there's still management to do unless using only one per trait.
Another thing conserning traits would be "forbid use by X trait" option on doors, so you don't have to set every each of them again, each time a new duplicant arrives. Especially useful for destructive on power zones, and for vomiters contaminating clean water early on...
