Skills Learned and Morale

Hello!
I have a dupe that has only 4 skills, all in her interest. Yet her skills learned shows 7 and thus she has a morale deficit. Any idea as to why?

The further to the right a skill is, the higher it's tier, and thus it's cost. As you get further down the skill tree, it becomes important to get additional ways of increasing your dupes' morale, through rooms, food, decor, etc

Skill points is related to your dupe's age. Ancient dupes can get enough skill points to learn everything, but don't do that, because...

Morale is your skill budget. Dupes with more skills need more morale to stay sane. Excess morale reduces stress, a lack of morale will cause stress. Each skill has a morale cost equal to its "tier", skills to the right cost more morale points. Favored skills cost 1 less morale than normal.

Skill points can be reset at the skill scrubber.

You can assign any dupe any skill unless it is trait blocked by them, but if they do not have a heart next to it then it will cost a lot more morale for them to maintain it. Either scrub them like the above said or build a bunch of art and statues all over the place where they move so they maintain a high morale.
