Try increasing the priority of the critter dropoff. Or alternatively you can use the move command. You don't really need critter traps anymore

What does the critter dropoffs' errand list say?

Check the subpanel on the bottom left, errands tab on both the trap and dropoff. Failing that check your rancher's tasks list.

considering only the cycle 23 it' s easy that none of your dupes has the necessary skill (Critter Ranching).
But honestly It' s a long time that I don' t use a trap, so I don' t know if a trapped critter still needs to be wrangled
