Anybody find meteor blasters worthwhile?

I personally think they are to expensive as you have to use refined metals.

And I think the blasted meteors should return all their resources

Maybe use rock for shot?

Also they seem to miss a lot so make them a bit pointless as they only have to let one through to cause havoc.

I use them all the time, they are awesome. These are endgame items. With a metal volcano you will have unlimited metal so material cost is nothing. I've had maps without a metal volcano and still had plenty, plenty of metal to spare.
