More DLC ideas
First off, YAY for batteries -- been using them a lot and they fix so many problems. I don't feel like I've gotten to the bottom of their potential either.

Got some new and old suggestions that I still think are good, especially the first two ;) :

* A bubble bot that floats on top of water and skims off the top (one or many) selected water type(s). Water version of Sweepy! Maybe call him "Slirpy".

* Like the simple gas mask station -- a water suit station. Early game and low cost solution for normal and especially bionic dupes from getting the wet debuffs. I cannot remember... maybe the gas mask station already does this...

* The CRAZY SCIENCE FICTION DLC?
- Genetic machines. Once a dupe reaches maybe 30 points in any attribute, you can pull his blood and get a Blood Booster pack that can be given to another dupe that enhances that attribute. I suppose the dupe could suffer an 'anemnic' debuff for a while.
Perhaps a machine that uses radiation or uranium to mutate the blood pack for odd benefits.
- Alchemy machine. A very high cost and inefficient method to create some of the harder to obtain materials in the game without having to use rockets.
- Frankenstien machine. Revive dead dupes at a huge cost. Maybe starts with many debuffs but the machine can slowly remove them at huge costs.
- Quantum Stones -- stones that can turn into a Vent, Gyser, or Volcano. Maybe these are rare things you can find at the furthest reaches of space. Ex. you find a Gold Quantum Stone, and it summons a Gold Volcano when you activate it at the location you desire.
- Plant Creator -- create the rare plant seeds you want.

* Butcher machine. Rigged with automation so that if the critter count is at a certain amount, the dupe takes the oldest critter and puts it in the machine to be turned into meat. In this way it automates keeping your farms at max count.

* An entertainment machine that takes gunk and makes bouncy balls the dupes play with. The bouncy balls get consumed per use.

* Specific stations that improve specific attributes. Ex. Gym for strength increase, etc. This is less necessary with bionic dupe addition though, being how versatile they are.

* A critter that recycles nuclear waste. Or maybe just the bee's can drink it and add it to the hive.

* Quality of life: improve the process for creating vacuums. I still think if something gets to mcg it should just drop to 0.

ya, I was thinking that'd be kinda neat. maybe have it eat solid nuclear waste or something so you have to keep the waste below melting temps or it makes a mess all over ;p

they could turn it into lead maybe? (the natural decay product of uranium)

or they could have to be over 400C and suck up liquid waste and spew molten lead... that could be fun too :P
