They don't breathe or exhale carbon dioxide, as a result, for example, it is very convenient to make vacuum jumpers between thermal zones for high-power wires that cannot be simply laid in blocks. You make a mini-room, pump out all the air, make a jumper and that's it.
Bionics are more stupid than Meeps
seriously... how dupes tend to be programmed to do the worst thing possible and actively try to get themselves killed...
yeah, Bionics do this 1000% more
like... regular dupes, try to avoid standing in high radiation...
Bionics?... Ohh let me just idle right next to the Nuclear reactor then complain why they got major radiation sickness
It's not for everybody, but if you're not overly fussy, you can make some interesting colonies with them. And just like the Frosty Pack, you'll get some free supply closet items with it too. And of course you can always claim your own discount on the price with the loyalty pack on the store page.
They're isn't a reason to use them over regular dupes, not to mention trying to mix the two. The bots are just a bad joke, it's a shame because Spaced Out really expanded the game, and even frosty planet gave new stuff. Bionic just feels like a hasty cash-grab from the die hards. I will be properly vetting any other new DLC because Bionic felt like a Ubisoft dlc..
Yeah, i mean... its quirky...
But... there is nothing in the Bionic pack i would miss if i diddn't have it
where as in the frozen pack, there are many items/plants/critters that are just plain useful even if you're not going to the Ceres planet
i think the bionics should have just been build-able robot assistants, not "Dupes" that could have been used to automate mundane tasks on distant asteroids or other places where you don't specifically want a dupe or a small colony, etc
That said, if anyone else wants to voice their opinions, please keep the post alive.
