Atmo Suit Oxygen consumption
I set up a living quarter for my duplicants inside of which there is oxygen.
For the rest of the map I do not care.
The idea is when they leave the area they put on their Atmo Suits and perform every task in it.

For only 10 duplicants I am using a setup of not less than 4 electrolyzers, otherwise the suits won't fill up.
Also I need a little oxygen in the restrooms & great hall.

The point is that 4 electrolyzers would normally be enough to ensure a good oxygen distribution across the whole map.

So is the consumption higher when my guys wear their suits?
I am not sure if it makes more sense to set up a suit checkpoint before every airlocked area (carbon dioxide arboretum, hot room, Drecko farm, space, etc.).

i got 1 electro that fills 10 suits and my base with 8 dupes, it can't fully fill all, 4 would be left empty. But 1 electro is 8 suits or 8 dupes the consumption is the same, but the suit itself has a storage too so it seems more.

Should be able to do it with 2 for 10 Dupes with gas to spare. 2 makes 1776. 10 Dupes use 1600. If they are all in the base.

I usually build bases with 9 Dupes I never see a reason to have more just to have more dupes isn't a good reason. I setup 2. It supplies the base, suits and the extra go to storage that I use for space. And I still can't use it all up. Using just 2 for 9 dupes.

If you are using 4. That's 3552 of gas enough for 35 and 1/2 Dupes. You are even over producing air by 3 times what you need. Very odd indeed. For some reason air is being deleted somehow.

If you 4 running all the time? If they, are you should be popping your base with the air you are making not running out.

Suits can store 200kgs of O2.

You can set up whatever makes sense to you, if you have plenty of power, and unlimited water, like from geysers. I generally fill the map from the base to the surface with air, and only use the new face masks for some things, like chlorine rooms, etc. Hot rooms get exosuits, and once it's built, only enough suits for each station, and one more for supply, until I get get automation fleshed out. But below the base, where C02 settles, and especially in the oil biome, suits required - mostly because of heat. For example - a natural gas geyser has gas coming out really hot, so a room it's in gets one or two suit docks to build it out/analyze it, and leave one dock standing in case I need to go back in for any reason (behind a water lock, usually.) It will be rarely used, so the oxygen use will be minimal, and the same for the power draw of the suit dock.

I tend to build SPOMs for specific tasks - one for the base, a second one for suits, etc. 4 for 10 dupes is kinda overkill, but if you have the power and water and can use the extra hydrogen, it's fine. Especially if you have 2 dedicated to the base, and the other 2 to suits, and store or pump the extra to the base if the suits aren't being actively used. There's no one way to play ONI, experiment and see what works for you,
