You can buy yourself time by digging deeper, by walling off generators OR placing them away from your duplicants' living areas.
You can also place a gas pump at the bottom of your base then feed the piped gas to a soda fountain or to gas reservoir (temporary - 1 ton's worth of storage, a single duplicant will take 833 cycles to fill one up). There's automation to turn on gas pumps based off sensor data and ways to build as to guarantee that a gas pump will always be surrounded by the same fluid
As for gas pressure, there's a 2kg/tile limit for most of the early game things (algae diffuser, electrolyzer) so generating more oxygen will eventually stop working.

Early game, dig a pit and let it collect there.
Then you can use a skimmer. Just needs to provide power and a filtration system.
Algae Terrariums work, but they're really inneficient in using algae, water and dupe time.
My solution involves slicksters. I build an insulated room to them and have heat and CO2 producers like generators in there, then some automation pumps CO2 produced in the base to this room. The slicksters then turn CO2 into petroleum, I just have to keep their ranch over 100°C. A loop of poluted water (that can go up to 120ish°C) between the generators and the ranch does that for me. When I progress to solar power and the generators in this room become backup power, I have to use the liquid output of a Metal Refinery to heat the slickster ranch.
You can skip the 100°C requirement, but it will give you common slicksters that produce oil instead of Molten slicksters that produce already refined petroleum.
Thanks for the hint, but a ranch is probably even further away then my Co2 problem :P.
Still on the testing site of that, i may have some hours by now but its mostly trial and error so far
Will try those out once i unlock them again, been at that point before but i didnt know how it works so i didnt build it yet ^^
You have several options.
-As mentioned before there's a Carbon skimmer setup, but that will "just" remove the Co2/carbon dioxide, you'll still need oxygen early game.
-There's also Algae Terrarium.
It will remove the carbon dioxide but also produce polluted oxygen.
Setup 3 of these next to each other, flank it by a deodorizer on either side, the deodorizers will need sand and power but produce clay and clean the oxygen.
-Oxyfern setup. This can be done either by setting up farms with this plant or setting up nature reserves and using a pip to transplant the oxygen fern.
