But it sucks that they're not in the starting biome... lol
I'd use mercury for the mercury lamp, don;t waste your mercury on plug slugs lol
Anything nearby is unlikely to survive.
1. Its good for liquid locks
2. Mercury Lamp is good and you have plenty of mercury to feed it for a good while.
3. Microchips for Power Plant Station basically build that thing in the mercury Biome where its temps are at -50 so you can easily use the solid mercury for boosting your power before it gets a chance to turn liquid. I actually recommend this especially if you are using a petroleum generator in the early to mid game for power with the ethanol pockets laying around.
I'm trying to find out what the optimal timer and valve settings are for the best cost-effectiveness of mercury/power to nectar production.
