However, building things which cannot be made out of wood, ice, or cinnabar ore is a challenge. Basically, I need to be able to mine abysallite to break out of the starting biome before I can build pipes, a refrigerator or even a water cooler for the great hall.
Also, if you've been playing for so long then it's assumed that you've figured out ways to challenge yourself. Otherwise, why are you still playing?
Anyways just treat it like factorio.
Most of the production chains I've gotten to (alveo, flox, spigot seals) were fun.
I picked a new game on Ceres Minor (CER-C-858207673-0-D3-0):
- Frozen core
- Large Glaciers
- Small Boulders
- Crashed Satellites
Dealing with the cold and food is not too bad but getting oxygen production going was difficult. Damn water keep freezing before getting into my Electrolyzer :)
Anyway I almost lost the colony when I got lower than 100g of oxygen: plants stopped growing and dupe keep looking for oxygen to breath. Now that I got some oxygen for the dupe I'm looking for ways to generate electricity in a renewal way and that seems to be an other challenge but I did not fully explore the map yet, will see...
Worth my money for sure.
the last game I still played and liked, ruined by DLC and monetization like everything else
These developers are good indeed, they make high quality videos and post it on YT as an announcement of new major content, whether its for DLC, or main game. Tell me how many developers actually do that
I hope ONI gets more content in the future indeed
Jesus christ, you pay 8 euros for a cup of coffee? I truly am the "europoor" apparently, because that seems insane to me :D
First, you get a 25% discount if you buy is as part of a bundle if you own the main game, and secondly, main it was regional pricing or something
$8 USD for a starbucks frappuccino with a couple extra pumps, ya, that's what they cost. Their "normal coffee," like a trenta cold brew with no extras, is closer to $6 USD, which is what the DLC cost. That's if you go in and pick it up at the store. My niece is addicted to the stuff and regularly orders it through door dash or whatever paying a few extra bucks on top of that.
So ya, $6 for a DLC for ONI, or $10 to have a cup of starbucks coffee delivered. Kind of an eye opening comparison.
US prices are crazy high, you may earn more then europe but you lose everything in this crazy high prices for everything.
