Are you not able to deliver uranium to rad lamp when disabled by automation?

I guess this applies to other things, but in this case it makes total sense to turn off the damn lamp when you putting uranium in it.

My dupes will run in with the uranium, set off the occupancy sensor, and turn off the lamps. However, they drop the uranium and go idle when they are turned off.

sad, but yes. No delivery when turned off by automation. Even autosweepers will drop stuff used to supply if turned off by automation
P.S. There shouldn't be a problem from radiation during radlamp supplying, I never have had even light radiation sickness from such task. And tbh even light radiation sickness usually is not a problem at all

Could this be solved by controlling the lamps using using a Power Shutoff? That way the lamps would still be "on" but wouldn't run.

Sounds clever. The machine can't operate, but it won't be disabled. So dupes should be able to supply it.
It wouldn't work for power generators, as those will always burn fuel even if there's nothing connected.
