Eventually the research was finished and there is exactly one radbolt left in the study terminal. So somehow the factures were rounded up to 1 after the research?!
Which also does not add up since rounding up would be multiples of 5 again,
I reloaded the last save, checked if there is still 1 radbolt in the study terminal, generated some more radbolts and the number changed from 1 to 5.9 and then 10.8
This seems to be a bug?
When using a powered radbolt generator, you have the buildings releasing a slightly higher amount so that 0.9 to 0.1 flies past an input
What I don't understand is how the study terminal is consuming radbolts.
I just had 30.4 radbolts in the study terminal and my dupe converted them to 3 research point with 0 left in the terminal. So 0.4 radbolts disappeared?!
As for the study terminal, I've seen that too. It should be 10 bolts per research point, but here and there some fractions seem to go lost. (But maybe consumption is influenced by efficiency boni like light or being in a lab)
Consumption is not influenced by efficiency. Efficiency only affects work speed.
Partial research points are stored in the material studies terminal. They are not lost.
Will have to check that again. Sorry for any misinformation.
It needs a multiple of 10 radbolts for a dupe to start research but once started it can use even fractions of radbolts
