Geotuners

How do they work? I have 2 built targeting 2 separate geysers that are currently dormant, and both are saying that no geyser is selected. When i switch one to an active geyser, it still says that no geyser is selected. What am i missing?

A duplicant has to come over to tune the setting I believe. Also you may want to connect the input automation port to its output one so that the geotuners don't take up resources while the geysers are not active.

Keep in mind that there will be moments where the geotuners aren't boosting the selected geyser even during its active periods because only once it runs out of tuning time does a duplicant come over to boost it up again.

This means that if, say for example you want to boost a cool steam vent to a point where its output can be processed by steam turbines, you will need to boost it probably at least 3 times one after another so that when one needs to be worked on, the output is always at a high temperature from the other ones boosting it still.

=WRONG!!!!!!!!!........ I'M USING ONLY ONE!!!!!!!!......... IT GIVES +20⁰C SO ......... TO LEAVE THE STEAM TURBINE AT SELF COOLED MODE U NEED ONLY 1 GEO TUNER!!!!!! ........... OR ELSE U MUST TO DO SOME SOPHISTICATED SYSTEM

Not necessary as the tuner will only use tuning data (or whatever the 'resource' was called) while the geyser/vent/volcanoe is actually erupting. So they won't use resources when inactive, apart from priming them if they should be empty.
