I haven't seen too much oddities, but I don't restart these very often and have seen the described things in older worlds, too, so stuff may be broken, or not at all.
Saturns:
I think it's more that there's a higher spawn probability for Saturns around hives, but that doesn't guarantee them. In my experience there is also a highish probability of them not surviving near hives (leaving just a seed which may be buried).
They can also spawn anywhere else in the frozen rad biome without hives near them.
(My newest roid even has a buried hive. Only noticed it because I thought two hives was an awfully low amount.)
I've seen teleporters being at least partially within the rad biome in the past.
Also it seems to me that the dimensions of the rad biome can vary heavily.
The most irritating thing I've seen is in my current world, though. It seems that a world trait (frozen friend) has replaced my CO2 geyser, so I don't actually have one
I find it odd, though, because it used to always be the case that Saturn Critter Traps would spawn close enough to Beeta Hives to eat the baby bees and produce natural hydrogen. Now it seems rare. And the teleporters should (not saying they do) always be out of the rad biome, because it's too cold to dig into without atmo suits, which aren't available in the early game on Irradiated Ocean. I thought the asteroid seed used to always keep them out of it, which is logical. Only when I started making new world seeds this weekend did things seem wrong.
=DUDE, I GUESS THAT'S THE INTENDED CHALLENGE, KIND OF SO U SHOULDNT COMPLAIN
=SOOOOOO, THAT'S THE CHALLENGE, HEHE......... AND NOT A BUG, LIKE DEVELOPERS ARE LIKE "SO U WANNA CHALLENGES, HUH HUH???SO THAT'S YOUR CHALLENGE!!MWAHAHAHAHA"............. SO THEY PUT THIS EXACTLY........ FOR A PURPOSE, GOT IT?????
=BY THE WAY, SIMPLY DO ATMO SUITS, MMMKAY???????.................. LIKE WHAT ELSE, THEY ALWAYS DO........... AND IF NOT ENOUGH, THERES A GARB THAT MAKES DUPES MORE COLD RESISTENT, RIGHT??????............. IT SHOULD VE DO, I GUESS
=IT'S INTENTIONAL............. NO MATTER WHAT U'RE THINKING........ TO IMAGINE.........
=BY THE WAY, I'M SORRY BUT I'VE GOT TO THIS TRAP MYSELF................... AS THAT LINK BUTTON THAT IS IN STEAM OVERLAY DOES NOTHING AND U'VE GOT TO "VIEW ONLINE" AND COPY THAT STRING FROM BROWSER..................
Actually, while I wouldn't call the teleporter thing gamebreaking, the intended challange of that roid is starting without any kind of advanced or tempresistant material. And working your way up the really hard way.
On the other hand, building a sustainable/long term survivable colony here isn't a challange at all, as you can produce as much food/oxygen as your heart desires.
So, the challanges are purely about moving on.
