It's also easier to charge, as Oxygen Mask Docks only require a source of Oxygen while Exosuit Docks need Oxygen + Power.
If you're heading into a low Oxygen environment that isn't too hot/cold, throwing up some Oxygen Mask Docks can be a good idea. But when temperature/caustic gasses (Major Eye Irritation) are an issue, you'll want Exosuits.
Alternatively, you can just make a 3x3 pool of liquid as a way to keep gases out of an area. Then your dupe goes through it when moving between areas; uses more space than a liquid lock, but I've never liked using those.
Aren't liquid locks the method of making "doorways" out of liquid in a 2x1 space for dupes to walk through? Or are they something else?
Edit
Never mind, what I'm talking about is a Liquid Lock. >_>

Both are liquid locks - it's just a question of how much you want to exploit the game to make them more compact (visco gel exists to enable the 2x1 liquid locks but you can stack normal liquids to get the same effect)
