Pokeshell dropoff automation

I'm trying to design a drop off point that allows the pokeshells to fall harmlessly into a pen so that my dupes dont enter.

However the pokeshells simply are able to stand on opened doors the same way dupes are. And I can't put critter drop off flags on top of pneumatic doors.

Parkour pokeshells never fall when they're supposed to...

They jump about 1 or 2 times back up, but eventually they fall down into the pit.

Doesn't work on the babies. Tried moving it vertically too. Nothing.
