Use for Fossils?

Is there any use for fossils other than Lime?

I ask cause you can get Lime from other sources and don't want to waste all my Fossils if there is some other use I might need them for.

They ALSO turn into sedimentary rock when you crush them, which is useful for breeding stone hatches.

I beleive you can use them for drywall or tempshift plates, although I don't believe their very good material for that purpose.

You can use them for most construction purposes that regular stone could be used for, but it doesn't have any noteworthy qualities that makes it good at those things.
