So im trying to build a system which unbottles polluted water and water bottles and gets rid of the germs. How do i build a system that gets rid of all the diseases in the water?

Only way I know of is using the tepadizer (I believe it's called). You put it in the water, it heats up to around 70+ degrees and kills off germs, then you have to cool the water before you use it.

Other ways would be to drop/drip it onto lava or a volcano. But good luck with that. :) heating issues there.

But when I had food poisoning in my water all I did was have the tepdizer in a pool of water and drip the polluted water into the pool. The smaller the puddle the quicker it heats, but, it's also very energy hungry system.

There are now some extreme heat-sources in the game. Normally you have more than enough and have more a problem of not overheating the base.

The newest update allows 1700°C Molten Glass. You must cool it down anyway, so why not dump it in the Polluted Water to heat it instead of creating artifical heat. If you make enough the polluted water might even turn into steam, which cooled down is clean water again. Or maybe even use it for the steam engine to make a little power with it as well.

The refinery is also a very reliable heat source and with a little thinking you can make the heat work for you.

Heating water past 70 degrees.. can be done with either an aquatuner (lots of power) or a tamed volcano.. to tame a volcano you need to box it up in absolite, onthe top you need to have built metal tiles made of tungsten, then auto doors on their side. then another layer of tungsten.. have a temp sensor set to open and close the doors.. when the doors are open it heats the top plate.. when they are open it creates a vacum with insulates the top plate, and it cools down.

just store it in a huge tank till you can deal with it.
