How do you turn off those annoying tutorial messages that pop up?

I don't see a switch to turn tutorial messages off.. where is it?

Most of them are at the start of the game and once clicked away they are gone for good. never really bothered me enough to see if I could turn them off.

There isn't one. It's been on my wishlist since the game was in early access, along with the useless "long commutes' flag, but the devs have kept both. Small annoyances, though - not game breaking.

For those of us who start over frequently, yes these can get annoying, and it would be nice if we could disable them.
