Thanks. Seems pretty elaborate- it would be nice if dupes could be told to move things from spot to spot on the floor, but oh well.
That's what Conveyor Rail Automation is for.
An auto-dispenser set to sweep only would be infinitely more practical.
later though, dispensers are 100 times better. as they will auto drop the egg once it gets there, and set to sweep only your dupes wont get stuck in a loop.
Yeah, that's a lot less elaborate than picking stuff up and putting it down somewhere else...
If you are looking for simple solutions to problems this is probably a game that is going to repeatedly disappoint you. The entire point of the game is designing ridiculous contraptions to solve basic needs for the mindless lemmings that run around trying to follow your orders. The more complex and full of redundant logic it is the better.
