rimworld and factorio are the two best management games of this kind of all time
ONI is not even close.
As a factory game, ONI is not a factory game, it can be (to a point) but its not the main goal.
All the scenarios are way too easy or just plain boring.
If you think Rimworld sucks then get this?
Rimworld just has crappier everything. The combat engine is pretty undeveloped (getting shot in the foot behind sandbags, getting your finger sliced off by a longsword)
and it is clear to see that the game exited Early Access way too early. The game is pretty much only interesting with mods
There are also tons of frustating bugs which could be patched quickly. (caravan won't leave when everybody has moderate heatstroke, but leaves when a wimp gets initial hypothermia)
Plus the dev constantly promised a sale but the price NEVER budged from 35 dollars
Klei has like 30+ employees, while Ludeon studios is just like Tynan Sylvester and a couple of other ppl, it's pretty impressive what they've made with such a small team, anyway:
maybe he is lazy, but he still made a great game :p

oh? which mods did he steal? it's been quite a while since I played it.
Lol what? Rimworld has incredible modding ability. People make mods for just about everything.
So the devs should be restricted to only making stuff that isn't included in mods somewhere?
How do you know the mods that they "steal" aren't just things they planned to include anyway but hadn't gotten around to yet? Ludeon is a tiny team and Rimworld is a massive game, after all.
People should be grateful that Ludeon about how well Ludeon has supported the modding community for Rimworld, not putting them down for this garbage.
