Meal lice: converting grams to kcal

Hello-
Sometimes meal lice are referred to in grams, and sometimes in kcal. Do you know how many kcal are in a gram of meal lice? I don't see it clearly documented anywhere.

You don't need to worry about the weight of consumables, but for future reference a meal lice is 1000g and has 600 kcals

Thanks for the info. In the ration box it is referred to by weight, but in the musher, by kcal. It's nice to know how to make sense of that. 1 kilo is 600 kcal. Cool.

yeah they need to allow critter feeders to be set by kcal and not weight. one time i made a feeder for shine bugs with my frost buns and all of a sudden my 2 million kcal for colony was gone hahaha
