Metal and Oil refinery automated setup

Hi,

I'm at cycle 250 and so far I've used smooth hatches for refined metal and a clock sensor for my oil refinery to disable it before it gets too hot, and then enables it after a while when it's cool.

I was looking to automate my oil refinery differently and perhaps replace my smooth hatches with a metal refinery.

Any of you guys care to share your setup?
I've found some stuff online on youtube, quite long and old videos, and I'm not sure if they ll work today.

For oil refinery - if you really want to use it (heating oil to 400C is much more efficient way to convert oil to petroleum) you can place it near oil well, oil coming out of it will be enough to keep refinery from overheating. Like this:

Metal refinery - if you use petroleum as coolant and loop it through steam chamber you can get power out of it and never worry about cooling. It actually produces more power then it uses in most cases (depends on metal and dupe skill):

Be careful with refining too much metals though, you might need ores later.
