How to use Thermo Nullifier to cool water?

Currently I use water to heat my Thermo Nullifier -.-

I used coiled wolfram pipes around the nullfier. Doesn't seem to be the solution. -6° isn't bad, but not enough when you start at 90° and pump it half across the map.

It sounds like you're doing it right. You might see some improvement by using abysalite insulated pipes if heat is leaking in/out between the nullifier and your water tank.

The thermo nullifier only sinks 400 watts. If you want to cool water by 1C, you can only pump like 100g/s past it. Pump more and you won't see much effect. You can cool a few generators and batteries with it, but it won't keep up with much more than that.

In case you're trying to cool water from the geyser (like I tried to my first game), I calculated out how much energy you'd have to dissipate. To pull 4kg/s of water down by 50C (down to 45C), you have to dissipate 835,000 watts. It literally would take a couple thousand of them. I found it better to just run it into the electrolyzers hot.

Yes, if going for geyser->electolyzer, I find it best to pump the hot water right in to the electrolyzers and then use either the nullifier to cool the oxygen output, or even better, use the nullifier to cool a thermoregulator or 3 (which is cooling the oxygen)

Here is a way to cool your water super cold, even ice is possible.
1) pump water inside abysslite
2) build a decent size tank near the heat nullifier
3) dump some Co2 inside the tank, around 1/2 the size of the tank
4) send the water into the tank and start up the nullifier.

If done right the Co2 will turn to solid due to the cold and drop into the hot water. But becuase the water is hot, it gives up some heat to turn the Co2 back to gas. This cycle repeats until the water turns to ice. I did this with 95 degree water and they turn to ice easy.

Lol, then with the crap load of ice, dump a large amt into the geyser and it should cool it to more tolerable lvls. My 40t ice cooled the geyser to 50ish degree using a semi automated system. Note it might drop lower if you can get the ice much colder. I recall I had it once drop to 20-30 with 40t of ice that was around - 50 - 60 degrees and the cold water lasted around 50-60 cycles.

remember minining the ice causes a 50% mass loss so u lose half the water
