Hydrogen disappearing in Drecko rooms
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2103972508

I've filled and refilled hydrogen in these rooms. Hydrogen is supposed to rise and get stuck on the top layers.

They're either dropping 3 tiles below themselves and sneaking out of the room into other rooms or they are being absorbed or diffused somehow. Is that the case? Am I going to have to refill these room constantly with hydrogen?

I do know hydrogen is the glitchiest of gasses. It spontaneously appears in enclosed spaces, etc.

Not that I'm behind on anything they're providing but its frusterating none the less.

What are you pumping in through those air vents? If it is o2 then that is most likely your problem. Let the top layer settle and it will stay forever, pump in the o2 below that layer.

I don't know what you mean by h2 appearing in enclosed spaces. I have never seen that happen. I have structures that depends on they never being contaminated by h2 or any other rouge gas.

Likely, your gas pressure in the bottom layer is both insufficient and changing too much, allowing your hydrogen to surge and bleed out. Invest in a liquid lock, and dont use O2 for the bottom layer as your dupes will turn it into CO2 and again mess with your pressures.

Here is what my dreko ranch looks like

I have a vague recollection of some "airlock door" mod causing a similar issue, are you using any mods like this? Might be your problem.

I am using the proper airlock doors mod.

I'll take into consideration that the air pressure of the oxygen could have changed.

I'll have to relocate these farms to an area outside of my main base. The dupes are breathing and moving around. Atmo suits are the way to go for everything.

I don't use this mod but the best I can remember it's not anything to do with air pressure, it was simply the mod being broken ... I would ditch this mod but you do you.

If it's "Self-sealing Airlocks", that mod should work just fine. It had some issues at some point, maybe use "mod updater" to force an update in case Workshop dropped the ball once again.

The way it looks in the screenshot I too would say it's the balance between oxygen and hydrogen pressure. If you had a full layer below the ceiling it may just have been not enough hydrogen and it got compressed into those patches when oxy pressure rose. Add more hydrogen until it's able to settle without being pushed away if oxy changes.

My drecko farm (works since 1000 days)

https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2105182298

ca. 1,7kg hydrogen on the top, minimum 1,7kg oxygen below.

Nice. You can feed your guys with only 4 farm tiles?

I ditched my entire setup, now I'm racing to get natural tiled mealwood with the help of pip farming. Idk how many I'll need to feed a maxed occupancy drecko farm.

Mostly cause my dirt production at the moment is almost null.
