I don't know what you mean by h2 appearing in enclosed spaces. I have never seen that happen. I have structures that depends on they never being contaminated by h2 or any other rouge gas.

I'll take into consideration that the air pressure of the oxygen could have changed.
I'll have to relocate these farms to an area outside of my main base. The dupes are breathing and moving around. Atmo suits are the way to go for everything.
The way it looks in the screenshot I too would say it's the balance between oxygen and hydrogen pressure. If you had a full layer below the ceiling it may just have been not enough hydrogen and it got compressed into those patches when oxy pressure rose. Add more hydrogen until it's able to settle without being pushed away if oxy changes.

I ditched my entire setup, now I'm racing to get natural tiled mealwood with the help of pip farming. Idk how many I'll need to feed a maxed occupancy drecko farm.
Mostly cause my dirt production at the moment is almost null.
