Power Shortage ?
First of all, i know how power work after au (Agricultural update)

but somehow, even though my total power consumption is nowhere near max, the transformer somehow short on power for brief moment then full power again

here is my setup

none of transformer burden more than 1 kW power

is this bug, the current game system, or just me ?

the big problem is the main pump that feed natural gas to natgen is not runing constantly

any idea why ?

thank you for help

Ur production is slightly less than ur consumption.

my production si 6.4 kW (8x800 W natgen)

equipment consumption is just about 5.9 kW even if all item is runing 100% :
Air Scruber 2 x 240 = 480
Cooking Station 3 x 60 = 180
Message Table 2 x 240 = 480
Water Pump 3 x 240 = 720
Gas Pump 2 x 240 = 480
Electrolyzer 2 x 120 = 240
Thermal Regulator 3 x 240 = 720
Fertilizer Maker 20 x 120 = 2400
Bio Distiler 2 x 120 = 240

Total consumption 5.940 W = 5.9 kW

so why all the equipment can't run all the time ?

I don't know what causes the problem, but there is a simple work around. Just put a single Battery on each circuit next to the Transformer. The storage on the Battery will cover these infrequent "brown outs".

hmmm

is single enough ?

A single battery of either type on each circuit should prevent brown-outs.

I think ideally, you want to exceed the power requirement of all total transformers just to be absolutely safe, not just what's on those transformers circuits; each one has its own internal battery which needs to be filled, and could possibly be causing an extra unseen power draw, somehow.

i did calculate each transformer is not exceed 1 kW, and after placing single battery for some circuit, it seems work

thaks a lot guys :>

From my exp, if ur consumption is close to ur production, u can experience burnout. Ur main lines batteries will run dead and then the transformers will exp lack of charge which shuts down any machines connected to that line.

It happened to me when I added another cooling system to my grid. Pwr started to drop even with batteries. Once I added more pwr generators, the problem disappeared.

There's really no reason to use the tiny battery after you get the large one. The larger one stores 4x as much and produces less heat.

You also spend less resources building the 1 larger Battery than you would to build 2 tiny ones.

base on my experience, the gas pump that not using atmosphere switch will always run even though the gas that pumped will be less effective and the more less gas that going through your thermo regulator will consumpt the same power even though the gas that going through there just a little. put the atmosphere switch beside your pump at 1 kg / 1.5 kg and it will make your thermo regulator run effectively.

it's not that

what i ask is why the power often out and make the pump that suply nat gas stop work

but after place 1 battery in each circuit, that problem doesn't appear anymore

Because u play on fastforward. It is a bug. If u play on normalspeed the bug is gone.
