If I take a super cold liquid and heat it up in a pipe to where it should be a gas will it break the pipe or remain a liquid until it exits the pipe?

That is a bit bummer, was hoping to use liquid hydrogen as a coolent

You still can if you limit liquid flow to 1000g or less by using a valve. Pipes will not break then. But this seems to be an exploit so it is up to you if you want to use it or not.

Actually, is there a way to get liquid hydrogen without using supercoolant? And once you have supercoolant using hydrogen will be kind of pointless, the only reason to use any other coolant at this point would be working with really high temperatures and things like liquid metals.
Liquid hydrogen is also very inconvinient to work with in general, without exploit mentioned above, because of very narrow temperature range in which it stays liquid.

actually I was planning on using a null whats-it and several tuners to make hydrogen my super coolant lool, and yes it was for liquid metals :D

Problem is, the only liquid that stays liquid at low enough tempearures is supercoolant (and i agree this names are confusing):

And since you need something to cycle through pipes without freezing, you essentially have to use it to get liquid hydrogen.
The thing is also far superior to liquid hydrogen an any possible way as coolant, the only problem arises when you want to go above boiling temp, but the hydrogen will not help you here too, you will need to find something that stays liquid reliably within temperature range you want to use (possibly hydrogen in gaseous state, if you do not need very fast heat transfer).
Also be mindfull about what you are building pipes/walls from, some materials like granite may melt and cause issues.

Ah its an actual material, I can't make it yet though, I'm still trying to tap my first oil for plastic but next to the oil is a magma and metal volcano so there is a major heat issue with tapping anything near there.

So you basically want to cool metal coming from volcano? The easiest way would be making big pool of water under it and then cooling this water.
Magma volcano... just block it with insulated tiles out of obsidian for now, you will figure out how to use it WAY later.

Suites protect from temps up to 700-something C, higher than that and you will eventually get scalding. They still can survive for short duration though, even in magma. Just be mindfull that sutes are made of copper, and if it melts dupe will die.
For metals though, they have relatively low SHC and high conductivity, they generally cool down to relatively safe temperatures fast.
