algae will give more over longer time
i know 100kgs of oxylite is 50 tiles of max gas pressure, just not sure how many tiles of max pressure a distiller can pump out with 500kgs of algee
prob could figure with math, lol.
distiller puts out 333.3g/s o2 and uses, 366.7g/s of algee
so if the end o2 results are similar, mabye the oxylite cause the distiller uses quite a bit of power and makes heat.
actually just looking at it, the algee prob does way more, its very close to 1 to 1. so that is at least 400kgs of o2.
Oxygen Diffuser: 550g/s of algae > 500g/s oxygen
But still ya, at least 4x more o2 overall.
end game, oxylite for sure, for the rocket fuel.
Also, just for perspective, dupe consumes 60kg/cycle...
4+ times more.
build the Oxylite Refinery and you will get 400+ kg of oxylite
or if you got enough water run some Algae Terrarium.
that would createe 600+ kg of oxygen with 500 kg of algae
But even with the light boost, you need just over 2 per dupe for a days o2.
They use water akin to you leaving your shower on and flushing your home toilet 10000 times a day.
Now that they need emptying since the water is over 90% returned as PW, no germs at least. that does add up to being alot of PO2 in the air unless you can handle all that bottled yellow water.
I used only terrariums once since the start, and ended up with around 50T of polluted water bottles right there at the plants, and ended up taking a dupe full time effort just to manage filling them, emptying them, and taking care of the 20 needed deodizers lol.
Which killed almost 100T of sand before cycle 200 lol.
So the PO2 it puts out only gets toxic if it can find a germ to start the germ oragy.
So you can get LOTS of o2 from the deodizers, but takes alot of dup time to manage and uses so much sand you need to go up and get regoloth to run them end game.
Oh also the deodizers dont have an over pressure.
So if you dont manage it closely, you also can get VERY high stress quickly from popped eardrums.
