Plant Seeds - how to get rid of / compost them

Hey i have a "problem" with seeds i don't need laying around everywhere. Is there any possibility to compost them or to transform them into something usefull?

Its kind of funny. When you click on seeds when they are on the ground a button with the word compost appears. You do need a compost heap built though, same one you use for polluted dirt.

no it doesnt work. first of all they dont take the seed to the compost bin. second, even if they would, it seems a bit worky to click on overy single seed for the compost option.
yeah storage would work but i would like to see a usefull variation.

ok you are right. i dont know why my dupes dont took them to the bin.
But is there a possibility to select all seeds or something like that`?

Hopefully a new update gives compost bins an optional checkmark, "accept seeds". Or It has a acceptable compostables button.

I was looking for a composting interface like sweeping and harvesting. It really should exist down on the bottom right with all the other buttons.

Also they might have other things to do that are higher priority than using the compost pile. You'll notice if you set compost piles to priority 9 that your dupes will immediately start hauling everything you've marked.

Thx to your answer i may found a solution. just use the clean up interface (instead of the non existent compost interface) and set the compost pile on a high priority. The Dupes then take the seeds and compost it.
