Central Exosuit Checkpoint + transit tubes
my idea was to centralize the exosuit checkpoint + docks and let the dupes exit the base via transit tubes. this part is easy to realize.the second part however seems to pe impossible at the moment: let the dupes enter the base via regular airlocks and have them deliver their exosuits at the central docking station.
entering is easy, but delivering the suits to the central dock doesnt seem to work. you can have them drop the suits as soon as they enter the base by placing some checkpoints but then the suits will lay there and wont be recharged. on top of that id have to manually request this suit at the docking station...

the only solution that i see would be to place transit tube accesses outside the base and let them end in the central exosuit room. but thats 960W per access point and id need 3-4 of them...

With how it works currently you will absolutely have to make dupes come back into the base through the room with checkpoint/docks.
Not sure what you mean by "central", may be a picture a two could help, but with how it works currently most sensible solution seems to be placing access points after checkpoint/docks, even if still inside the base.

but atm im looking into a permanent exosuit setup. besides the movement penalty i couldnt find any other disadvantages.

The entrance back into the base would have to go past the exosuit dock, otherwise you're always waiting for them to re-deliver suits back to their places. You can use what you have as a shortcut out to places, as long as they can manually walk back.
