Does Copper Ore spawn anywhere outside the starting biome? I'm running out of it to make Exo Suits and I want to know if I need to start pulling out my copper wiring and replacing it with something else.

No. You will have to recycle or move in to other metals.

Get recycling and remember this for future runs. Your ore is strictly limited so hold onto it when you can. This is also why many people will only play seeds that have a coppercano or goldcano.

I have written down rules what metal goes where, like gold for power buildings, iron for wiring, etc.have discipline, don't use random metal and remember, youi can always press backspace and spawn a metalcano somewhere

Yeah you really gotta build as small as possible. I've found that you can get pretty far with just a few duplicants. With only four to six dupes in your colony you won't have a need to build so much stuff.

Because of the fact that only copper can be used to make atmo suits, I follow a discipline of strictly not crushing any copper into refined copper. Instead I use iron wherever possible, and I only refine iron and other metals. This ensures that you have enough of it for atmo suits.

If you've already run out, then consider deconstructing some of your older buildings that were made out of copper, such as wires, fire poles, or other systems.
