Ladders and steps

If we could get ladders added that aren't wood, along with stairs that would be great.

Plastic ladders, firepole, and transit tubes are the later on "upgrades from a ladder. Theres also a tile (I forget the name) that makes your dupes run faster.

But I do agree on the stairs. They should add those.

If they were upgrades you would have the ability to replace them in place (like how you can replace tiles with insulated tiles, carpet tiles, etc) - plastic tiles are evidently intended to function totally differently from regular ladders (e.g. just like you can't replace ladders with fire poles).

Or maybe the game is developed by a dozen people who have never met.

"Upgrades" was a general term. Call it what you want. I was just saying there are better options later on.

While I agree, about upgrading the ladders with the plastic ones. I think the suggestion would be more seen by the dev's on the klei fourms.
