Why is this game always on sale?

i have had this game in my wishlist for quite some time now, with the intention of picking it up when i had some extra cash and time and, in the time it has been there, it has never (to my knowledge) NOT been on sale. it is always 20% off ($20) with rare times of it being slightly more discounted. i find this to be a dishonest business practice if what i believe i am seeing is true. if this game is regularly sells for $20 then it should be marked as such and not be eternally on sale for $20. this is the same practice that places such as outlet stores use to sell you junk, worth less than you payed for, while making you feel like you got a great deal. if i have come to this conclusion in error then i sincerely apologize, but if not i dont think i will do any business with this company until they change their practices.

Klei gives you a discount for other Klei games in your library. I also got it for $20 but I have Invisible Inc and Mark of the Ninja. If I open a browser and look at the price, ONI is $24.99 but if I look at it logged into Steam then it is -20% so $19.99

If you ask me, this is an AAA title game. So much work, treaking, balancing, bug fixing, and only $20 for how much fun I have had (even before release) is a steal in my opinion. Just ask people who spent $60-$200 on No Man's Sky and Fallout 76.

If u know anything about Don't starve and co, you can expect the same polishment level.
Klei are dedicated to their player and I would buy the game again @50 euros if necessary :)
I bought it the first day it was available on steam and already score over 1000 hours on this one, and still playing it :)

I purchase this because it was cheap. After 98 hours of playing still can't manage my colony that well yet. never pass cycle 100 without heat issue.

TLDR: Worth your money, I owned game that worth 10x more than this game yet play less, this game still in early access and that game is full release.

I was not aware that this was an option for developer to opt into but this makes total sense as i do own dont starve, thank you so much! i really didnt want to think that they were using dishonest sales tactics and this lays my fears to rest.

I got the game for 9$ (through bundle in steam- ONI store page)? I think you can still buy game that way -then again I am pretty sure bundle was 80% discount at that time and I had all DS dlc's and DST.

Also Klei should be role model for most active and future EA titles. They one dev company that I ,for once, will give money for games that are still in EA.
