Waterweed question!

I tried looking around but couldn't find an answer to my question. So they need to be irrigated with salt water 5kg/cycle. They can be grown in water, salt water, and brine. If you grow them in salt water, will they absorb it passively so I can just use a pitcher pump? Or do I still need to pipe salt water through hydroponic farms to irrigate them?

They don't use the water they grow in but they must be irrigated either manually or through hydroponics with salt water.

They don't need salt water at all. Regular water will work, even on top.

They do need irrigation with salt water at least that is what the info says. I have never seen dupes use other types of water. As for hydroponics I haven't tried it with other types of liquids.
