I use the Boom Box in my Great Hall, but they only dance once every 3 days. It's a nice +6 and then the boost for dancing.
I also have a small Water Cooler room with a plant and a painting, 12 or 16 tiles big. They go there and have conversations on days they don't dance and if I give them an extra downtime I can net another +2 from that room for socializing etc.
To get full advantage from this set up, I swap the bathing tile in the schedule for work and add another downtime to replace the first bedtime block. They socialize till whenever and then get up whenever they hit 100%.
Sometimes they sleep a little late, but with nice Bedrooms or Barracks most times they get up when they should; it's only when I have them working way out in the sticks that they get back late and maybe sleep in a little. They realy don't need 3 full blocks of sleep to reach 100%, and again the little bit of time lost in the AM (that would have been bath time anyway) is well worth it given the moral boosts.
Cheers..!
I find I always build a separate rec room but only so I can jam the great hall with artwork and mess tables, and have a different room for the radio and video games etc.... But having that extra room does not provide any bonus at all, if I could just jam it all in the great room morale effect woud be the same.
