can't get my dupe to get in the space ship!

so I finally got an astronaut and besides spending most of their time on the massage table I can't get them to get in the darn rocket! what gives?

You got any red warnings on the rocket? Also the gantry has to be placed just perfect on the naut won't board.

I haven't actually launched a rocket since the last update, but this was what worked before.

Oh that's new... they used to just pop right out when the rocket landed... idk, i got my cadet on the centrifuge right now, I'll see if I can offer any advice once he starts making flights.

I have the same issue. I've got a dupe with suit wearing interest. I unlocked his piloting and navigation skills, but he just won't get into the rocket (he just idles). I tried the same steps with another dupe (without the appropriate personal interest), and he sprung into action. What's up with that?

I remember having some weird issues with my first astronaut as well; I don't remember exactly how I got it to work I think I dropped an atmosuit on the ground, assigned the suit to the astronaut, then put a sweep command on it and then put highest priority on the capsule and it eventually worked. My dupe wouldn't just take an atmosuit from the dock to go into the capsule for whatever reason.

It's not a different problem, it's the same problem, my astronaut would not go into the ship. I also have no reason to start a thread about it, because as I said, I solved the issue.

Just trying to help you; my astronaut would not go into the capsule despite having a proper gantry. I had to unequip her atmosuit, then reassign the suit to her, and issue a sweep command, and this fixed it for me. This may not work for you, but it would be something to try and it is relevant to your problem that you could not get your astronaut into the capsule as I had the same issue.

Try disabling the table? I had my dupe stuck in the telescope and wouldn't come out no matter telling her to move, as soon as i clicked disable she jumped out then into the rocket.

Ok, I figured it out. Turns out, operating jobs were blocked for my astronaut dupe in Priorities panel (coz he's very bad at operatn'). I've just swiched them to very low priority, and he's finally got into the rocket.

in Skills select the Rocket Piloting Hat. that solved my issue about dupe not go inside rocked

i just searched in google the solution for my problem. as here was no solution i posted update
