Place Wheezeworts in hydrogen because if it's thermal conductivity. And take advantage of the radiant pipes.
This was before they added radiant pipes. So Radiant pipes might be more efficient. Haven't tried though. My current base uses algie terrariams since you get most of the water back as polluted water now.
1: "Cold" is a limited resource. Preserve and protect it, and be judicious about when you use it. Along those lines...
2: Use hot water where you can. Lotsa people try to cool geyser water. Not worth it unless you're using it for farming. Put an abysalite insulation box around the geyser, with a gold pump inside, then run super-hot water through an insulated abysalite pipe straight to your electrolyzer. The air comes out hot regardless of the temp of water going in, so don't waste limited cooling on it. You might need to take a bit of heat out of the steam to turn it into a liquid, but don't waste any more.
3: Limit your heat production. Don't use transformers unless you need them. Avoid heaters if at all possible. Find ways to use fewer batteries. Maybe even ramp down power production if it's where your heat comes from.
4: Wheezeworts, wheezeworts, wheezeworts. These things are the most valuable thing in the game behind dupes and water geysers.
5: Wheezeworts work best (or at least used to) in high pressure hydrogen environments. I like to make a room with 20k hydrogen pressure and metal walls, then cram all the wheezeworts on the map inside (note, it takes about 50 cycles for them to reach full cooling after you plant em, so don't move em around). Then I pour petrolium over it till it's at like -60 and pump that around for cooling.
Long-term, the cold room is your best option. That worked miraculously before radiant pipes, so it's gotta be insanely effective now.
