Bristle Berries and Temperature
Is there something I am not doing correctly? I try to plant Bristle Berries in the farm tiles that you pump the water through. I give them light, but everytime, after maybe a day or two, it gets too warm for them to grow. I've tried using the HVAC to pump cooler air in (and the HVAC is separated from the berry plots w/airflow tiles. But the temperature never goes down.

Anyone know how I can do a better job with this? Thanks.

Isolate the walls and also remember the plants and the farm has the higher temp too

Also most gasses drop temp slowly

I would try putting a thermo aquatuner (or more than one if your water temperature is too high) in between your water pump and the farms to lower the water temperature you are putting into it.

Dont forget light bulbs radiate heat, and water in the pipes radiate their temerature too. My simplest makeshift solution was to put a storage unit filled with only liquifiable ice and snow to cool the water source, use isolated pipes until arriving to the farm, bring cool air, and use a tempshift plate to diffuse the light heat to directly to the tiles above instead of heating the atmosphere all around and other plates at the bottom of the farm behind the plants to equalize body temperature faster between cold water and plants

just dig into ice biomes and kidnap the wheezeworts, plant the wheezeworts in plant pots near your crops... or under them (wheezeworts suck up gas from the bottom and push it out the top)

The best solution is simply sealing the entire farm off from any heat sources and using water below 70f to water the hydro tiles. The water will cool down your metal hydro tiles fairly quickly and slowly cool down your light sources. If you cant keep water temp down, wheezeworts are second best option.

put them in hydroponics gardens with a cooling loop and flow control.
