Is there a way to change a game back from a sandbox game?
I'm really enjoying the map I'm on. It's got 2 natural gas geysers, 2 steam geysers and a chlorine geyser. I'd like to keep playing it but at the same time I'd also like to access some of the new creatures (like the delicious Paku... which purportedly poops phosphorite!).

It's an older save though and when I put the world seed into the new game world generator what it spits out looks nothing like the map I was on.

So I could plop some pakus in with the sand box. The only problem is then it's a sandbox game forever.

So is there any way to move things back to a standard game and what (if any) are the downsides of playing a sandbox game?

New game, use the old debug mode, copy some critters (and nothing else) as template, use debug in old save, paste template? But that will also mean having the whole map already explored, so give or take 😥
