Report a translation problem
1. They might just have a command queue hiccup. Try saving and loading.
2. You are deep cycle. Do you have so much going on your computer can't keep up and its sacrificing critter commands? Yes, this can happen.
I already saved and loaded (multiple times) and it hasn't fixed.
Any suggestions on how to help critters make it through the immense noise?
I also tried running at 1x speed for a half hour or so. No success.
One way or another, that's certainly not my problem, as I removed the salt water only recently to ensure that the pips weren't getting scared off by too much water (which they won't cross).

My pips are wild and not being well-fed. However, several generations of pips over hundreds of cycles have been used to plant hundreds of these waterweed seeds. Why would they suddenly stop here and do nothing for hundreds of cycles?
Another guess is if pips are hungry or otherwise glum or maybe elderly pips won't plant or plant less often. Try adding in a bunch more pips.
