Repairs are so frustrating...

Is it me or do I have to constantly prioritize repairs for my dupes to repair them??

repairs are frustrating to me because they waste precious resources into nothingness and I always cancel them if I can, but suit yourself

Same. Have to manually to find broken wire under 5 other things and set it to priority 9 - and maybe, just maybe, then someone will go fix it. Seems faster to deconstruct and rebuild it though. Moving to higher tier wires soon as possible is fine - until some of the through-wall plates don't connect properly and before you realize it oxygen generating doesn't work properly and everything goes to hell. Again. ==

If you need to repair then that means you messed up and didn't prepare.

Repairs happen when you:
1. Run too much power through a weaker wire.
2. When liquid froze in pipes/ gas liquefied in the pipe.
3. Wrong liquid/ gas was sent to the machine.
4. Machine overheat.

I'd assume liquid pipes can also take damage by having the liquid vaporize.
You shouldn't need to repair that often that it would frustrate.
