Carbon skimmer keeps breaking?

So it's the 1st tiem I set one up and have probably done something wrong, I have water going in, enough power going to it and an outlet but it runs for about 10 seconds before needing repairs and says 'wrong element'? Is it becasue it's Polluted water?

Yep! It sounds like you have polluted water getting into the inlet.

Thank you, I went and screwed that map up, I polluted my main water source by accident so started a new game. At least I know to be more careful with water now.
