How to use fertilizer for farming?
I read that Fertilizer Synthesizer produce fertilizer at 50+ degree. But most plant can't go above even 35 degree like dusk cap and bristle blossom. So how do I use these fertilizers?

Do I need to store them in storage bin that have been put in a cold room first?

I thought that when things are "inserted" (not piped) into plants the heat just disappears.

Oh! ok thank you very much. I didn't know about that so I was afraid that my plants will withered due to too high temperature ^^

Farm tiles have small internal storage and stuff there exchanges heat with tile's surroundings. So heat wont disappear immediately, especially if your dupes or pipes keeps delivering to the tile.

Both FDru and Angpaur are right about different things.

The microfertilizer made by the farm station does simply disappear after you apply it to a plant, its not an item just a buff and thats what you make fertilizer into. Angpaur is right that anything ADDED for the required growth of a plant goes into tile inventory, although "fertilizer" is not a required item for any of them.

You will still get some heat off the fertilizer as its stored, transported to and then used by the farm station and dupes but its generally not enough to worry about.

They dont change temperature of plants, unlike water or atmosphere.

You dont need to cooldown it or anything.

even if it did fertilizer has such low mass to where the heat gain would be so minor that even over 1000 cycles it still would not be that big of a problem especially tru3 for plants that require regular water or pwater irrigation

The temperature is for the "internal" temperature of the plant. The plant consists of organic goo, which still has to absorb the heat in the first place.
So if they are in a cold environment, but you pump hot water into them, it can still even out the plants temperature.
