Massage table gone?

I'm a bit confused I see a massage room that requires a massage table, but there is no massage table to research or build. I feel like I'm missing something. Also, how do you deal with stress if there is no massage table now?

its under medical. if I don't have a massage table I pump the downtime...each period of downtime basically adds a morale point. Best to just avoid that situation all together by not advancing your skills too quickly.

Also, personally I use the massage tables for emergencies-e.g. if I had to send my dupes into a swamp for whatever reason and they ate mealwood, some of them might get really stressed and need an extra relaxing break. They shouldn't be your normal method for keeping stress low.

just make sure you have good decor and your dupes will be fine

Build it, it doesn't cost power if it is unused. Better to have something and not need it than the reverse. The room has low requirements and unless it is actively being used costs nothing.
