Do critter eggs count as meat?

For the carnivore achievement, I was curious if you could also just farm eggs?

If it's like real life, no eggs do not count as meat. They are the nutrients of a potential baby once the egg gets fertilized.

They don't, only meat, fish, cooked meat, cooked fish, surf and turf and the burgers. (Basically everything with meat and/or fish in it)
