How can I purge a pocket of chlorine gas?
I guess that the instant I opens the cave, it will kill my dupe? And where can I put the gas? I have still early in the game.

It will not kill your dupe. It is harmless, but not breathable.

Gas canisters and store it? Vent it to space? Use it to kill FP germs or scrub ore (which will consume it over time)

Oh I have not found gas canisters.

My point is, if I start to opens a cave with gas, it will spread everywhere, even if I add two doors in between, right?

As long as nothing of importance is in the cave, ignore it. Though you can just open it - chlorine won't kill dupes. And sooner or later, you base will contain a variety of different gases. As long as it contains enough breathable oxygen for you dupes, that's fine.
Also chlorine is heavier than oxygen, so it will sink to the bottom of your base. So if you REALLY want to get rid of it, just dig a hole down. Just remember CO2 is even heavier and will push it back up at some point, unless you seal the hole.

ok, I tried to preserve an atmosphere close to the one on Earth, so only oxygen, carbon dioxide and inert gas.

If I want to filter my gas and store them, is it possible? Ideally I would prefer to have my base clean of anything like that.

Yes, though it'll get tedius to set up gas pumps and gas filters to track down every stray pocket of chlorine, hydrogen, etc.

You may need to do research for this. gas filters will be under ventilation. Storing gasses is under the base tab, for some reason.

Gasses will sort themselves according to density. Just let it flow to just above your co2 layer and you can then either pump it from there or you can plant salt vines which consumes chlorine gas.

Storing is not advisable unless you intend to use it later.

Liquid locks at the exits from you central, main base.

You mean dupe has to swim underwater to get to the central base?

Swim no, go through a liquid and get a temporary "soggy feet" debuff yes. But they're dead simple, completely seal one side's gasses from the other side's and is completely mechanical so it needs no power.

That one will give slopping wet.

Sorry, yes, sopping wet. But it doesn't last long so I'm not bothered, YMMV.

Sure it is. You basically need 2 gas-pumps. One at the top and one at the bottom of you bas. Then you just need a line of gas filters (120W each, until you learn how to use automation), filtering out one gas at a time and venting it either a gas storage or a storage room.

Ofcourse for clean gas in each store-room, you might need to have them sealed (either with water locks or just pure wall) and a pump in it to create a vacuum, before pumping other gases in...

Mind you, storing gases is mostly pointless. You can recreate any gas in the game. Some are easy to come by, others harder. But there is no gas which you can truly run out off forever.

Use airlock mod that seals the gases and makes the gas not able to pass through the door so you don't have to use water locks at all.
