Automated Mechanized Doors
These ports have 3 types states: Open, Auto, Closed; however when I automate I can only send open (locked) or closed signals, and I can never restore the auto state through automation components.
Is there any way of that?

Nope. As soon as you build an automation wire on door's input jack it will be controlled by it and it will be either closed or opened. Also be careful when building the wire - as soon as you build wire on door it will lock until you connect it to green signal so your builder dupe can be locked in hostile environment behind that door.
Also it would be hard to build some sensors to emulate 'auto' behavior since in closed state the door won't allow dupes to pathfind through it so you can't just build weight sensor before the door - they just will think everything behind the door is unreachable and just ignore the tasks

Closest you can get is using various sensors (such as the motion detector) to control when the door opens.
The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic.

Ok, but door is located in front of ladder, cannot put sensor out... tired of bugged ATMO sensors, are hard to make greenhouses... almost not good after spend may and many time.

Post a screenshot, there may be another option you haven't thought of yet.
