Best youtubers?
So I am bored and cant play at the moment, but I can watch some youtube. Wandering if anyone could recommend some videos to help me learn? Dealing with the gases, and some of the stuff is confusing to me and I saw no tutorial last night so I was just winging it last night. I made it to cycle 9, but had some Co2 issues in my base(on survival). I also had all these pee or polluted water bottles everywhere I have no idea what to do with.. I don't watch youtube much other than to learn things, and usually like watching Jacksepticguy, but he hasn't made a video for this in 2 years and that is outdated obviously. Thanks for any tips!

For neat complex systems for mid/late game and some neat systems for early game Brothgar seems to make many neat things. However I do end up improving my own versions of what he makes if I ever borrow some ideas from him...

Crypticfox has excellent playthroughs and a few tutorials (that are out of date but still actually helpful)...very helpful descriptions of what he is doing as he reacts to live viewers

There's a bunch, depends on the style you're looking for.

Best info and the absolute best 3 are GrindThisGame, Francis John and brothgar.

GtG and Francis are both a bit older and are really calm, no flashiness, occasional jokes (usually inadvertant) and provide top notch info and advice. These are my 2 guys, I'll watch everything they post (usually while playing ONI myself).

brothgar is more of a "YouTube personality" type who seems to be trying to become "a brand". He's a bit younger (I'd say late 20's), he's louder and more ... looking for a better word than obnoxious ... vivacious. His videos have the little picture-in-picture with him in the corner. Not at all my cup of tea, I have a hard time watching him, but has excellent info. I watch some of his stuff for very specific topics I may be researching.

CrypticFox, another "personality". Not terrible, I can watch small doses of him. He does seem to play to the stream rather than to "be good" at the game so he's probably not the best to learn from. I'm constantly thinking "you were so lucky" with him, he does the right thing for the wrong reasons and is just lucky they work.

Biffa does some ONI, another "personality" but not as bad as the others. I love Biffa for Cities: Skylines but not so much for ONI.

Lastly, TonyAdvancedONI is more like the first two, has some extremely interesting stuff, he's just really new so there isn't much content from him.

I'd take crypticfox over brothgar personally, I just find brothgar grates the nerves too much. Blitz isn't very good at the game but he's very entertaining lol

Yup, same, I've actually got CF's recent stream running in the background. brothgar has some really great info though, I find it worth being annoyed by him to learn about specific things, but just barely :P
